What is circumcision Surgery?

Circumcision surgery is the surgical procedure for the removal of the skin covering tip of the Penis. This is a very common procedure for new-born baby boys in certain parts of the world, including in India. Circumcision after the newborn period is possible. Why is circumcision done?

  • Keep the area dry for 2 to 4 days after the surgery.
  • Always Wear loose-fitting clothing for a few days.
  • Avoid any sexual activity/Intercourse with your partner for at least four weeks.

  • Avoid any heavy exercise after the surgery at least for one month.

  • Keep the wound clean and dry after urinating.
